Stow Community Park

 

There is nothing that should separate you from this glorious community yoga practice.  We are proud to partner with Stow Recreation a Free Community Yoga in the Park Series in June - August 2021.  Bring a mat and your yoga practice to the Stow Community Park every Friday at 9am.  This weekly yoga practice is led by one of our Certified Yoga Teachers.  Registration is recommended, but walk-ins will always be welcome.

Improve your flexibility, concentration, and strength.   Boost your mood and reducing stress and joint strain.  We will move together, breathe together, and have fun, too!

Suitable for all levels.  Participants are required to bring mats.  Blocks, straps, and blankets are recommended.

 

Yoga in the Park Protocols and Requirements

Weather-dependent:  This community yoga practice is an outdoor practice and will be weather-dependent.  The class will be automatically canceled due to rain or temperatures below 55 degrees.  Those who are registered will be emailed at the email address that is associated with their Stow Fitness Center account.

Class is Free for All.  Teachers will not take payments in any form on-site.   Participants may be required to sign a waiver agreement form.

Drop-ins Welcome, but Registration Recommended.  Registration is recommended in the case of any schedule changes or other notification needs. Online registration opens 2 days prior to the scheduled class time.  Register here or call 978.897.5300 for assistance. Walk-ins are welcome and will not be denied class participation.  Participants are encouraged to arrive 10-minutes prior to the class start time.

We ask that students perform their own health check before attending class. If you have symptoms of any type of communicable sickness, we ask that you stay home and do not attend class (i.e. fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.). We also ask that students who have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 please refrain from coming to class until they have completed a 14-day self-quarantine.

Students will need to agree that they are taking class at their own risk, and that Stow Fitness Center and its instructors cannot be held responsible if the student has difficulties practicing yoga with a mask/face covering on, or if one of our students become infected with COVID-19. Students may be asked to complete a new waiver before they attend class to address the changes brought about by COVID-19.

Students must bring their own yoga mats, props, water, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, bug spray, and whatever else they may need during class – we will have no supplies.   There are no public changing rooms available for use.  Portable toilets may be available at the management of Stow Recreation.
